Candle & Wax Melt Care
Candle Safety
Instructions:
- When you light your candle for the first time, it is important to let it burn for 2-4 hours and allow the melted wax pool to reach the edge of the container ~ The first burn is the most important for the best candle burning performance and to prevent tunneling.
- Trim your cotton wick to 1/8" - 1/4" before relighting your candle, this will give a cleaner burn. You can use either wick trimmers, nail clippers or scissors ~ We have trimmed your wick for your first burn!
- If soot does form inside the vessel, extinguish the flame, let cool, wipe with a clean damp cloth, trim the wick and relight.
- Only burn your candle on a heat-resistant, flat surface.
- Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Do not let your candle burn itself out. Stop use when only 1/2" of wax remains.

About Fragrance Notes
What do top notes, middle notes, and base notes mean when talking about fragrance?
A perfect combination of these three notes makes a fragrance lasting and appealing.
- Top Note – This is the initial impression the fragrance oil makes when you first smell a candle or remove the lid. It is the most volatile, meaning it will evaporate the quickest.
- Middle Note – The middle note is the “heart” of the fragrance. It can take 10 to 20 minutes for the middle notes to fully develop. When you are burning a candle, the middle notes are the most prominent.
- Base Note – also called the “Dry Down”- The base notes are what give a candle lasting quality. It is the aroma that lingers even after the candle is extinguished.
Note: Some notes are just more prominent than others in a fragrance and tend to linger throughout the stages.
About our Stone Accent Collection
The Stone Accent Collection is something that I am very proud of and enjoy the entire process of making (well except the clean up). Each Cement Container is hand mixed and poured in small batches, using a blend of cement, and colored with cement pigments. Each container is sealed to prevent leakage. They may have imperfections, like air bubbles and slight color variations but that is what makes each one unique.
NO TWO ARE ALIKE
The BEST part ~ You can Repurpose Your Container
To remove the remaining wax simple scoop out the remaining wax. Remove the wick holder using a knife or pliers. Wipe with paper towel, and if needed wash with mild soap and warm water.
Leave a Lighter Footprint ~ REUSE ~ REFILL ~ RECYCLE
Repurpose as a candle with a drop in refill, planter, a container, or anything you want.
